Bicentenary of Photography · 2026
Cameras in the Streets of Bièvres
From September to November 2026, the streets of Bièvres became an open-air gallery. To celebrate the bicentenary of photography, the town of Bièvres invited the 99 Cameras Museum and the Musée français de la Photographie to share their collections with everyone passing by.
Thirty cameras, fifteen from our museum and fifteen from the Musée français de la Photographie, were printed in large format and hung along the walls and railings of the town, each with a short text telling its story.
Our warm thanks to the Mairie de Bièvres for organising this celebration, and to the Musée français de la Photographie for sharing it with us.
